Background
When not working at Ashton Service Centre the owner, Chip Kazmi is a well-known figure around the British Superbike Scene.
Chip started off as a club racer competing in the British Championship before injury curtailed his career. During his racing days his highlight was finishing third in the National Supersport 600.
After his injury Chip reappeared as the diagnostic expert working for the Dienza Performance Ducati (BSB) Team where his experience and knowledge helped with the fine tuning of the suspension, engine mapping and providing full data analysis.
He then worked for Dienza Ducati, Hydrex Honda and Hawk Kawasaki, using his expertise for all these teams.
Recently Chip has also worked Dienza Performance Samsung Suzuki, a Leeds based Anglo - Italian motorcycle Race Team, currently operating in the prestigious British Superbike Championship.
Chip is a popular figure around the scene and has worked with many riders such as Dean Thomas, Glen Richards, Gary Mason and Sean Emmett.
